  • Research Fields
    We are interested in understanding synaptic structure and function in the living brain. Specifically, 1) we try to understand the function of sleep in learning and synaptic plasticity with transcranial two-photon imaging of synaptic structure and calcium activities; 2) we examine the roles of microglia in the development of Alzheimer’s disease (AD); 3) we will develop and improve the techniques to image monkey brain and examine the synaptic plasticity and function in the living monkey brain.
