Profile of Dr. Olga Y. Gorlova
Dr. Olga Y. Gorlova received her Ph.D. from Institute of Cytology and Genetics, Novosibirsk, Russia. From 2000 to 2013, she worked at Department of Epidemiology, U T M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Currently she is an associate professor at Geisel School of Medicine, Dartmouth College. Her research interests include cancer epidemiology with a focus on lung cancer in never smokers, modeling of cancer progression and early detection, and genetic epidemiology of complex diseases. Currently she is leading a genomewide association study of lung cancer in never smokers, involving multiple research sites worldwide.
