The Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School recently established the Center for Computational and Structural Biology (CCSB), chaired by Professor Yun-Dong Wu. The center’s focuses are as following:
(1) developing novel computational methods for the study of biological systems;
(2) understanding protein folding, protein-protein/small molecule interactions;
(3) structure-based drug design for anti-cancer, anti-virus, and anti-neurodegenerative diseases.


We invite applications for the following available faculty positions:
1.A structural biologist who uses X-ray crystallography as the primary experimental tool.
2. A biologist who studies protein/protein interactions using mass spectrometry as a primary tool.
3. A medicinal chemist who uses computational methods extensively.
4. A computational biologist who is interested in developing novel methods.


Position Requirements:
Applicants should have a PhD degree in related fields and relevant postdoctoral experience. Appointees are expected to teach graduate courses and to develop a vigorous research program in their area of interest.


The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Medical benefits are provided. Housing might be subsidized by the Shenzhen municipal government, depending upon qualifications. The initial appointment will normally be on a three-year contract. Renewal is negotiable.
